Hola, Namaste, Hello!,
I’ve gotten multiple requests to talk a little bit about the magical ways of dry shampoo – Dry shampoo is a MUST HAVE product for everyone. Washing your hair everyday is not only inconvenient but unhealthy for you hair as your hair is nourished by the natural oils that comes with not scrubbing your scalp constantly.
There are many different formulas in dry shampoo, some better than others, but the basic premise is that it is a powdered mineralized form of regular shampoo. I use dry shampoo practically everyday and many leave a cool texture to your hair that I actually prefer.
Before I go through my dry shampoo picks, here is how you apply the product: simply section off your hair, focusing on the roots where oil is most prevalent, then spray product a several inches away from scalp and sift through hair.
Now that we’ve got application out of the way, below I have listed my 5 favorite Dry shampoos. I’ve tested several dozen, and I can honestly say, these are the true winners.
(listed from least expensive to most expensive)
1.) Suave Dry Shampoo ($5-6)
Why I like it: gets rid of grease, leaves a white film that is easy to blend out, and affordable
2.) PSSSSsst! Dry Shampoo ($5-8)
why I like it: no white film, very easy to use, no smell, keeps out oils for hours
3.) Batiste Dry Shampoo ($6)
Why I like it: comes in many different scents (my favorite is the original), easy to use, white film that is easy to blend out although they also carry a formulation that is specific to dark hair that doesn’t spray out white
4.) Bumble & Bumble Prêt-à-Powder ($27)
why I like it: light powder that you can easy blend into hair to soak up those unwanted oils, helps extend hair style
For application: instead of a spray, this product is a powder- simply sprinkle this gem lightly onto scalp and blend.
5.) Oribe texturizing spray ($42)

why I like it: FANTASTIC product, works like a dry shampoo but adds insane volume and texture ($42) GREAT FOR adding texture to BEACHY WAVES!!!!
That’s all lovely people!,
