HEYYA!,
May favorites are here (a little late to the party, I know) but nevertheless, I have gathered up some monthly goods for all you lovely people. I have quite a few this past month, so I’ll get right into it!
1.) DIOR Illuminating Neutrals Eye Palette ($62)
I have a weakness for any natural palette and when DIOR came out with this gorgeous, earth-tone beauty, I was immediately drawn to it. I’ve always liked DIOR shadows- they’re nicely pigmented, easy to blend out and look flawless on any skin tone. What I love about this palette is how easily each shade transitions into the other- great for both day- time natural looks and the classic smoked- out look. The palette also comes with a complementary black liner that comes off as more of a slate gray until you build it up. All in all, a lovely product.
2.) Charlotte Tilbury: Wonder glow Primer ($55)
Charlotte Tilbury is one of my all time cosmetic idols- Working in the industry for many years, creating iconic looks around the world, Tilbury finally cultivated her own beauty brand that is absolutely wondrous. The Wonderglow primer adds a dewy, glow over or under any look, perfect for summer. This primer isn’t too shimmery (which I love) and it’s formulation is absolute perfection. Great primer and an even better all- over highlighter!
3.) Charlotte Tilbury Lip Pencil: Pillow Talk ($22)
This lip pencil is yet another fantastic product from Charlotte Tilbury. Lip pencils are truly game changers when it comes to creating a natural pout to your lip (and cheating your lip shape ever so slightly). This shade in “Pillow Talk” is the ultimate nude shade for any skin tone- it’s slightly nude, with pink and brown overtones. The formulation is spectacular and aids in not only shaping your lip but holding pigmentation with any lip color.
4.) Charlotte Tilbury: GODDESS SKIN CLAY MASK ($70)
Can you tell I have a new makeup obsession with Charlotte Tilbury? I can honestly say this is my new favorite face mask- it’s a facial in a bottle. Charlotte often uses this on celebrities before the red carpet and models before fashion week to awaken the skin. This mask lifts, smoothes, brightens and tightens pores for Baby Skin- it’s gentle and deeply cleanses the skin. A fantastic product that yields fantastic results.
5.) Chanel ILLUSION D’OMBRE ($36)
I recently wrote a whole review on these gems- so I’ll paraphrase: (link of review below)
The ILLUSION D’OMBRE collection comes in 11 dynamic shades, all extremely shimmery. If you’re a matte- exclusive person, these shadows are not for you. The shades range from the very illuminating 81 Fantasme shade (bottom right) to the intense black- pearl 85 Mirifique color. My personal favorite is 84 Épitant, a stone shimmer with a slight green tint, and 91 Apparition, a deep, ocean blue. Fantastic pigmentation, strong lasting power and amazing shine. A GORGEOUS PRODUCT!
