H E Y A F R I E N D S !
One of the hottest months of the year has passed and I’m getting ready for yet another transition period in my life as Fall approaches. I’m set to start fresh and new this coming month and with this, I obviously need some cosmetic gems in my life. SO! with that said, here are my July favs, check it!
1.) NARS “Ita” brush ($55)
I’ve discussed the beauty of this brush before, but this past month I’ve taken to using this pretty much everyday. It’s a wonderful little tool that is absolutely ideal for contouring. From the narrow shape to the dense bristles of the Ita, this brush is killer. It’s sleek and effective (and yes, pricy) but I would highly, highly recommend it!
2.) URBAN DECAY NAKED SMOKY PALLETE ($54)
THE BOMB IN A BOX. I just wrote a post on this big guy- here’s an excerpt from it (full link below)
This palette is the definition of versatile. There are 12 amazingly blendable shades, both shimmer and matte (see below). You can use any combination of shades to create various looks from vampy, smoky eyes to natural, shimmery nude eyes. With each purchase, you also get a great little guide book for beginners that give you some ideas on what combinations work well if you’re not accustomed to such a thing.
3.) Charlotte Tilbury Lipstick: K.I.S.S.I.N.G Kate ($32)
Of course I HAVE to include a Charlotte Tilbury product! This gorgeous nude shade is the exact color Tilbury herself mixes for the iconic Kate Moss. THE EXACT COLOR AND FORMULATION. It is rather nude, and for my pale skin, I usually have to add a little gloss but really this shade looks majestic on anyone. The formula is creamy and lasts plus, for once, JUST ONCE, you might just feel like miss perfect Kate Moss. What could be better?
4.) Charlotte Tilbury SUPERMODY BODY ($68)
You know that seemingly unattainable Victoria Secret model shimmer and glow all the girls have on the runway? Well, this is the SAME PRODUCT they use backstage. This product is insanely expensive BUT what you get is the most luminescent, natural glow to your skin that tones your legs, making them appear slimmer. YES, actually giving the illusion your bod is smaller. Sounds to good to be true, eh? It’s not.
5.) Solid “BlenderCleanser” ($19)
So this little guy was in that dangerous counter in Sephora, the one right by the register. Just when I think I’m spending way too much money, that sneaky aisle gets me every time. This product was picked up spur-of-the-moment, and I honestly thought it was a waste of money at first. Once I tried it though, MAN, DID IT WORK. I have never seen my brushes and beauty blender get so clean so quickly. Cleaning your tools is always a must in order to stop the spread of harmful bacteria so a good cleanser is very important. I am most certainly going to repurchase this gem.
