MAJOR FAVS: Early Summer Favorites

I hope everyone is basking in the warmth of the beautiful early summer sunshine. For me, I am newly graduated from my university and my birthday is coming up in just a little under a week, so things are looking pretty good!

I haven’t posted a “favorites” post in a little while and I’ve been accumulating some really fantastic bits and bobs lately so it’s the perfect time to do a write up! Let’s get on with it, shall we?

I first wanted to start off with the gorgeous polishes posted above, the fabulous LE VERVIS de CHANEL. CHANEL has formulated a new, nontoxic formula that is absolutely stunning. The color I have on my nails below is #534 in Espadrilles, a kind of “throwback” 50s color with a modern punch of vibrancy. The color payoff is extreme with these CHANEL polishes and the applicator and formula glides on smoothly and easily. A great buy all around!

2.) Benefit Cosmetics: Goof Proof Brow Easy Shape & Fill Pencil

This beauty is not on the store shelfs yet but is available very soon. I received a sample of this product and found it to be the easiest tool I have ever used to shape and fill in my brows. It is far better than the coveted Anastasia Beverly Hills cult favorite (although I still like that one), and my brows have never looked so natural! I can guarantee this will be sold out the day it is launched- it is that good!

3.) TOM FORD Cream and Powder Eye Color

This was a splurge but is totally worth it. This little compact holds one of the creamiest, most blend-able shadows I have ever used with a whipped formula that goes on flawlessly. The top compartment has a light, shimmer shadow that is great when applied on top of the creme base. The two shadows are all I need for a complete look that is effortless and suitable for both day and night. The golden peach (right) and naked bronze colors are extremely unique to any shadow I have purchased before. It is like applying pure gold onto your eyes!

4.) OUAI hair oil

I just realized I never mentioned OUAI in any previous posts before which is shocking for how obsessed I am with this product line! OUAI, pronounced “way,” is a relatively new line launched by celebrity hair- guru Jen Atkin. Her cool, calm and effortless style is seen through all of her easy- to- use products. This OUAI hair oil makes my hair feels like silk  with a shiny, gloss finish. Plus, the scent is amazing.

5.) Lancôme Cushion Blush Subtil

This is my newest purchase but so far, I love it. The soft, plush, cushion- compact gives a beautiful, soft pop of color to the face. The blush gives off a healthy- looking glow and comes with a convenient sponge applicator. This product is also great because it’s easy to just put in my bag when I’m on-the-go. This lush product has strong lasting power and is an all around good buy!

6.) STELLA McCARTNEY Falabella messenger bag

I was proud to receive this bag as a birthday gift (a little early). I like investing in quality bags and would rather have one solid quality bag than a million disposable bags that I rarely use. This amazing, vegan- leather bag has a cool gray color that is so versatile. The hardware on this bag is immaculately placed and I can definitely tell why this bag is priced the way it is. I lust over all of Stella’s designs and I’m proud to finally own one of her masterpieces!
